Week 4: Keeping busy!

Hey there! 4 weeks are down!! That means there are about 5 and a half weeks left till graduation.  I've gotten about 5 letters in the mail from my sweet hubby, each envelope contains about 2 letters in them.  He's doing great, I am so proud of him! He's actually enjoying himself and learning a lot.  As of the last letter I received he has not yet gotten any of my letters, which means when he does, he's going to get like 30 letters at once.... oops ;).

As for me, I've been keeping really busy with the boys & my family. My little Silas baby turned five months old on the 17th!  I cannot believe how fast time is flying, and how many things change in just a blink of an eye. He is seriously the happiest little thing, full of smiles and sweetness!  He rolls over, eats cereal, "try's" to sit up, laughs out loud, sleeps through the night, takes two 2 hour naps a day, puts himself to sleep without any fuss, and recognizes people.

My Ryen is also growing faster than a weed. He is gong to be 4 years old in 2 and a half weeks!  He also starts preschool, and is super excited about it.  I smarter than his own good, and is so polite and sweet especially to others.  He makes it a point everyday to hug me and say, "I know you miss daddy, but I love you he will be home soon."  He absolutely melts my heart and I am so proud to be his mother.  Every time his mouth opens I am blown away at what comes out. Ha ha!  The past few weeks since Matt left, life has been hectic and we haven't had much one-on-one time, so my mom watched Silas and Ry and I had a movie date to see 'Turbo' in theaters!  It reminded me how important it was to just let go, take a deep breath, and have fun!  He asked me if I was going to teach him how to have a "date", so that's what I did.  I asked him if he was going to pay.... His response, "yes, with your money." I told him when he's old enough and has a real date that won't be what a girl wants to hear ;). God love him!

In between errands, cleaning, bottles, changing diapers, & occasionally fitting in a shower ;), my little sister flew in from being away for a month with her grandparents.  So we had a nice family dinner out, and a movie after the kids were in bed.  My brother also came back from Mexico prior to that so we had a lot to celebrate!  We went out of town to a family friends house one day, so it was a little bit of a drive to get there.  I sat in the back with my twin sister and little brother (my best friends) and for that short amount of time I caught a glimpse of what it was like when I was younger and had no responsibilities.  We joked and I laughed till my sides were hurting, we picked on each other and talked about old times!
Through this past week, I've actually learned a lot!  As much as I wish God would stop this train, or at least slow it down so my kids could stay little forever, I realized that the reason I was so stressed was because I try to get everything done in one day.  Well that's impossible and won't ever happen!  I learned that I just need to do one thing at a time and relax a little bit, because there has never been a time where things weren't taken care of.  I miss my husband more than anything in this world, he is my soul mate and my very best friend, but I do not for a second regret the decision to be apart of the Army!  I've become so strong through this and discovered an independence about myself and it's awesome!  I'm keeping on and staying army strong!  Hooah!
